What is Morse code?

Morse code is a system for representing letters, numbers and symbols through combinations of short and long signals known as dots and dashes.

These signals can be transmitted as sound, electrical pulses, flashes of light or written marks. This means the system can be used even when speech or conventional text cannot be sent.

Three units of silence.

A / BBetween words

Seven units of silence.
